At Maple Ridge Public School we believe all students can learn. Through mutual respect within the total community, our children will grow and learn in a positive atmosphere where staff, parents, and students are enthusiastic about the teaching and learning process.

Principal’s message

Welcome to Maple Ridge!

Since 1988, Maple Ridge P.S. has a rich history of commitment to providing balanced programs focusing on academics, athletics, the arts and character education. Literacy, Numeracy, Science, Social Studies, and the Arts are our school-wide focus and a variety of extra-curricular activities are offered in order to deliver a well-balanced curriculum and to educate the whole child. We have a specific focus on inquiry and STEM and strive to teach critical thinking and problem solving skills to all of our students.  Maple Ridge is fortunate to have an extremely active and dedicated School Community Council which continues to provide moral and financial support.  Students profit from our many keen parent volunteers who enrich our school on a daily basis.
